The Details of a. Testoni

In 1929, after having learned secrets of Bolognese craftsmanship, Amadeo Testoni opened his first shop. His attention to detail and fine craftsmanship has always been an integral part of this brand. Testoni shoes are known for details such as wheeling and stamping the soles and trimming the edges. Shading, polishing, the final brushing: hemming, assemblage and finishing can involve at least 200 manual operations for one shoe. Leathers used include calfskin, ostrich, iguana and crocodile. Experts hand-sew these fine and exotic materials.
